ACADEMICS

There are level wise classes that impart curriculum ranging from basic literacy to NIOS secondary level examination. The child is provided curriculum as per his/her intellectual, academic capacity as well as the requirement for his/her future independence.

Pre-Primary Class

The students are taught with audio-visual teaching aids. The student teacher ratio is 6:1

Primary class

  • Arithmetic (Advance level of: number recognition/writing,  number names, 1-digit addition)
  • Concepts (Advance level of: currency, time)

  • Pre-vocational skills (arranging books, simple recipes, sorting)

Elementary, secondary & senior secondary class

In these classes we prepare students to appear for Pratham OBE exams level A, B & C which is according to the student’s ability. The Level A exam is equivalent to Std 1 st -3rd . The Level B exam is equivalent to Std 4th – 5th. The Level C exam is equivalent to Std 6th - 8th. The student teacher ratio is 6:1

Pre-N.I.O.S

As the name indicates it is the base of N.I.O.S. Simultaneously the students are prepared for Pre-vocational skills in 5 different areas such as Office keeping, Store Keeping, House keeping, Art & Craft and Home management.

N.I.O.S

In this class students are prepared for NIOS exam which is equivalent to 10 th std. Simultaneously the students are prepared for pre-vocational skills in 5 different areas such as Office keeping, Store Keeping, House keeping, Art & Craft and Home management. The duration for Pre-vocational training is generally 2-3 years. The students-teacher ratio is 6:1.

Pre-Skills Class

In this class the child is provided curriculum as per his/her intellectual, academic capacity as well as their requirement for their future independence. It aims to improve self -care and aids future work skills for students. Along with functional language skills and functional math, Pre-vocational training is provided. This includes basic fine-gross motor skills, eye-hand coordination skills, perceptual skills, formal communication and safety skills.
